Researchers from the institutions listed below are eligible to apply for Round 1 of the This Is For Me – This Is For Science Proof-of-Concept Awards.

This list is updated as researchers from new institutions take part in our Science Showcase. To be eligible to apply for Round 1, your institution must appear on this list before the award application window opens. Once applications open, the list of eligible institutions for that funding round will be fixed and no further institutions will be added until a future funding round.

It's not too late to get involved.

We only need one cancer researcher from your institution to participate in our Science Showcase for the institution to be added to the list.

To take part, send us a short 15–30 second video introducing yourself and explaining your cancer-related research in accessible language. Once your video has been accepted for the Showcase, your institution will be added to the participating institutions list, allowing eligible researchers from across your institution to apply for the awards.

Videos should be sent to [TIFM–TIFS Gmail address]and must be received before the Round 1 application window opens.

If you intend to apply for funding and your institution is not currently listed, please make sure your institution has joined the Showcase before submitting your application. We will stop adding institutions to the Round 1 eligibility list once applications open.
